Own room

Last night was Neos first night sleeping in his own room!! Hes a BIG boy now!
It was a little harder to get him to sleep, but when he finally fell alsleep, he slept ALL night long!

It was also a great day at daycare, maybe cause he got extra good sleep! haha I was able to leave him for 3,5 hrs. He ate and slept there. Lets hope on a great day tomorrow too.

This evening was no problem at all putting him to bed, guess he likes being a big boy already!

Neo is such a great eater, no problems at all! and he doesnt want any help eating, he can do it all by himself! At daycare he is the last one to leave fruit time around 10, as he has understood that not everyone eats all the fruits .. so lots of leftovers for HIM!!

Ummmm MmmmmUUumm is all you hear him say when we sees food. (just like his mommy hahaha)

Wedding

Last weekend we got to enjoy a beautiful wedding, for Jenny and David. Thanks again for letting us share thi sday with you. Jenny was so beautiful, like a real princess! I just loved her vail, it was long and flowing. Just perfect!!
David and I were crying after ever speech, everything said was straight from the heart and all so loving. What a perfect day it was!

My LCHF dinner

For a little more then 1 month now I have been on the LCHF diet (low card high fat), as little carbs, sugar (regular and fruit) as possible and high in fat, protein, vegetables.. foods should not have more the 6g carbs per 100g. So this is my rule when im out shopping!!!

I have lost 4cm around my waist already!!! My plan is to eat LCHF to years end. It was really difficult in the beginning, and the first week I had a huge sugar craving headache .. but that went over after the first week and now i feel great. My tummy isnt swollen at all, i feel good!! I have no complaints about this diet at all! I was also lactose intolerant, but for some reason on this diet i am able to eat all the high fat milk products without any problem!

Day care update

So things are not going as planned. It has now gone 1,5 weeks since Neo started daycare, and we can still not leave him. It just keeps getting worse and worse, with small improvments now and then!
The first few days we left him for an hour, this was fine. But as soon as he saw me, he just wanted to come to me right away and did not want to go down, the 3rd day they went for a little outing in the forrest right beside the daycare. They ended up calling me after 30 mins and said that I had to come and get him as he was SOOOO MAD!! they had tried to walk him around by himself, stroller and play but nothing worked. So Alex and I went to pick him up .. about 10mins after this he was HAPPY Neo again!
He has made a few improvments, as eating breakfast without me (but im in the same room) play in the playground away from me for 1,5hrs, but today was just downhill and we went home early. Hoping that he was just having a bad day. Tomorrow David is going to try to go there by himself, to see if he might act differently with just dad!
Ill keep you updated. It is very stressful that this isnt wirking out, and im stressing about work and having to soon go back! :(

Outdoor daycare

Neo will be attending something called outdoor daycare, or rain or shine daycare as its called in someplaces. Its a daycare philosophy based on that the children are outside discovering nature for most of the time. Children that attend outdoor daycare are not as sick as other kids, they learn an early respect for the outdoors and all it has to offer and they are taken on daily fieldtrips to the woods, park ...etc...

At Neos daycare they also have a smaller indoor room that is theres, here they will eat breakfast, and play if the weather is to bad to be outdoors. All the children will be sleeping outdoors in sleepingbags, even the indoor kids. The daycare is located right beside a forrest, which suits the outdoors kids great, this is where they will explore and have fun!!!
They also have a larger room that is first reserved for the outdoor kids to play in. They said, for example if Neo isnt in the mood to be outside there is always a place indoors where he can go. They also have a waterfun room where they will be able to play if the weather is bad and indoor activities are needed.
I really think this is going to work out great!!

First day at daycare

First day at daycare went very well for both Neo and River! The teachers were very nice and they seemed to take a liking to them right away! They spent 1.5hrs there the first day, back again tomorrow but then for 2 hrs. Its a beautiful, brand new daycare. Inspired by all the nature in lays in. Its going to go great for these 2 little guys.
River is the youngest in the group, with a total of 9 kids (1 girl and oldest is born 2007).

Daycare

Neo is all ready for his BIG day tomorrow! First day of daycare, I cant believe that our little guy is now so big that he is going to "leave home" hahaha, well atleast for a few hours a day!!
Tomorrow is a short day 10a-11a, the rest of the week will be 9a-11a. Friday might be an hour longer, as they are going to try to eat lunch! Next week they start nap time ...
Its an exciting new time in all our lives right now!!

Kids visit

We are so lucky that for the secomd day have visitors. Yesterday Hugo and Addie were here for the day, and today River, Amelie and mommies are here for some coffee and play!!
Days go by so much faster and kids so much happier!

I have also driven for the 2nd time today, today we started the car from a upward position ... difficult, but i DID IT!! wiihooooo

 Today is the day!! when i drive off in one of these ... or atleast TRY to drive! hahaha. I start my driving lessons today, wish me luck!
Its going to me hard, after driving automatic for all these years, and now try to drive manual!
